Chimney of Juhin Hospital1984⇔2023
The chimney of “Jujin Hospital” can be seen in the back, but it is highly likely that the chimney of the public bathhouse that existed before the opening of “Jujin Hospital” was preserved as it is.This chimney was demolished along with the surrounding buildings around 2005. The oldest medical institution in Japan, the “Jujin Hospital” was established in 1938 by Dr. Fumio Umezawa, M.D., in front of the Ginza exit of Shinbashi Station.
十仁病院の煙突1984⇔2023
奥に「十仁病院」の煙突が見えますが、「十仁病院」の開院以前に存在した銭湯の煙突がそのまま保存されていた可能性が高い。この煙突は、2005年頃、周囲の建物とともに解体された。「十仁病院」は美容外科という診療科目がまだなかった時代から、美容整形医学の研究を重ねてきた日本最古の医療機関で、1938（昭和13）年、梅澤文雄医学博士が、新橋駅銀座口前に開設した。
