新宿コマ劇場前 1984⇔2021
1956（昭和31）年のオープン以来、美空ひばりさんや北島三郎さんをはじめとする数多くの座長公演を行い、本格的な円形舞台を持つ歌謡・芝居劇場として、昭和の新宿を象徴するものでした。
1990（平成２）年ごろより入場客数の減少に歯止めがかからず業績が低迷し、また建物自体の老朽化が進行し、2008年に閉館。複合施設「新宿東宝ビル」が竣工しました。

Since its opening in 1956, the theater has hosted many headliners including Hibari Misora and Saburo Kitajima, and as a song and drama theater with a full-scale round stage, it was a symbol of Shinjuku in the Showa era.
The theater was closed in 2008 due to the decline in the number of visitors since 1990 and the aging of the building itself. The building was closed in 2008, and the Shinjuku Toho Building complex was completed.

コマ劇場帰りご一行「山梨観光自動車」の旗を持つバスガイドさんに先導され、バス乗り場へ移動中。80年代伝説のディスコシティ「ニューヨークニューヨーク」の看板が見えます。
ふだんなら大勢の人の往来で混雑する通りも、この2年に及ぶコロナ禍で、すっかり寂しくなってしまった歌舞伎町。１日も早く平穏な日常が戻りますように祈るばかりです。

Shinjuku Kabukicho 1984⇔2021
The bus guide holding the flag of “Yamanashi Kanko Jidosha” was leading the group to the bus stop, and we could see the signboard of “New York New York,” the legendary disco city of the 80s.
The street is usually crowded with people coming and going, but after two years of the Corona disaster, Kabukicho has become completely deserted.
