自由ヶ丘駅ロータリー 1984⇔2021
昭和に流行った楕円形の駅前ロータリー。周囲の柳の街路樹が目立っています。上品で洗練された街並みで女性に人気の「自由ヶ丘」ですが、昭和な雰囲気を持ち続ける老舗の飲食店も多い街です。歩行者優先となり歩道部分が大きく拡張整備された。時計・宝飾と眼鏡の「一誠堂」、マカロン、ケーキなどの「ダロワイヨ」、なんと「ファーストキッチン」まで、今でも同じ場所で営業中です。

The oval-shaped rotary in front of the station, which was popular in the Showa era. The surrounding willow trees stand out. Jiyugaoka is popular among women for its elegant and sophisticated streetscape, but it is also a town with many long-established restaurants that retain their Showa-era atmosphere. The sidewalk area has been greatly expanded and improved, giving pedestrians priority. Isseido” for watches, jewelry and eyeglasses, “Darroyo” for macarons and cakes, and even “First Kitchen” is still operating in the same place.
