時代考証家、原知崇（はらともたか）さんの著書『作画のための戦う日本海軍軍装ポーズ集』（廣済堂出版）の写真を撮影しました。原さん監修のもと、甲飛喇叭隊（こうひらっぱたい）の皆さんをモデルに、生活から戦闘、礼式まで、海軍軍人の様々なバリエーションや角度から撮影！
スタジオだけでなく、貴重な歴史的遺産「筑波海軍航空隊記念館」と「記念艦三笠」へのロケ、本物の「海軍」遺産の場での撮影、軍装を着用された原さん、甲飛喇叭隊（こうひらっぱたい）の皆さんのリアルな表情、タイムスリップしたかのようでした。
大東亜戦争中の日本海軍の服装による礼式、生活、勤務、艦上戦闘、陸戦といった状況を網羅した作画資料集です。単に写真だけではなく、号令詞や服装の説明、徽章や兵器、関連道具の紹介も加え、コミック作画のみならず、映像制作の資料としてもお役立ていただけます。
We took photos for the book “Collection of Fighting Japanese Navy Military Poses for Drawing” (Kosaido Shuppan) written by Tomotaka Hara, a historical archaeologist. Under Mr. Hara’s supervision, we photographed the members of the Kouhi Harappatai (Kouhi Harappatai) as models, from life, combat, and etiquette, as well as various variations and angles of naval military personnel!
Not only in the studio, but also on location at the Tsukuba Naval Air Station Memorial Museum and the Memorial Ship Mikasa, two precious historical heritage sites, shooting at a real “naval” heritage site, and the realistic expressions of Mr. Hara and the Kou Hirabatai members in their military uniforms, it was as if we were back in time.
This book is a collection of drawings and documents covering the situations of the Japanese Navy during the Greater East Asia War, such as ceremonial dress, daily life, service, shipboard combat, and land battles. It is not only a collection of photographs, but also a collection of illustrations of orders, descriptions of clothing, insignia, weapons, and related tools, making it useful not only for comic book illustration, but also for video production.
