Shinsen Station, Keio Inokashira Line 1984⇔2023
If you take the Keio Inokashira Line from Shibuya Station, it will continue to look like a subway for a while. This is because it passes under Maruyama (the hill leading to Dogenzaka), which is the origin of the name of the town. At the railroad crossing just before the station, although it exits the tunnel for a moment, most of the station itself is inside the tunnel at “Shinsen Station”.
渋谷駅から京王井の頭線に乗ると、しばらく地下鉄のような状態が続きます。これは、まちの名前の由来ともなった円山（道玄坂に続く丘）の下を通っているため。駅直前の踏切のところで、トンネルから一瞬出るものの、駅本体のほとんどがトンネル内にあるのが「神泉駅」。
