東京・銀座4丁目交差点の西角に立ち、60年親しまれてきた、ガラス張りの円筒形のビル「三愛ドリームセンター」が建て替えの為、解体準備が始まっていた。人通りが絶えない銀座の安全性を確保するため、2023年3月から約2年かけて解体工事を実施。新築のビルに建て替え、27年の竣工を目指す。
Ginza San-ai Dream Center 1984⇔2023
San-ai Dream Center, a cylindrical glass-walled building that has stood at the west corner of Ginza 4-chome intersection in Tokyo and has been familiar for 60 years, was being prepared for demolition for reconstruction. In order to ensure the safety of the Ginza area, which is constantly crowded with people, demolition work will be carried out over a period of about two years starting in March 2023. The building will be reconstructed into a newly built building, which is expected to be completed in 2015.
