Shinjuku Station South Exit 1984⇔2021

There was a freight station at Shinjuku Station until 1984 (Showa 59), around where the prefab is located in the center left of the photo. This photo was taken around the time it was discontinued. The site was redeveloped and Takashimaya Times Square opened in October 1996, and Pasta Shinjuku in April 2016.

新宿駅ミロード8階より代々木方面を望む。
新宿駅には、1984年(昭和59年)まで写真中央左側のプレハブがあるあたりに貨物駅があった。写真は廃止された頃に撮ったものです。跡地は再開発され1996(平成8年)10月にタカシマヤタイムズスクエア、2016年4月にパスタ新宿が開業しました。
