1984年頃（昭和59）の御茶ノ水駅「御茶ノ水水橋口」前です。
お城のような外観の「サンロイヤルビル」（1971.8竣工）は変わらず。このビル、以前は全館「ウイーン」という名曲喫茶でした。向かいの画材店「レモン」の喫茶とともに憩いの場でした。現在はサンロイヤルグループ会社が運営する飲食店が営業してます。高層ビルは「新御茶ノ水ビル」（1981.8竣工）日本出版販売本社社屋です。
This is in front of Ochanomizu Station’s “Ochanomizu Bridge Exit” in 1984.
The castle-like exterior of the “Sun Royal Building” has not changed. The whole building used to be a famous music cafe called “Vienna”. It was a place of relaxation along with the Lemon coffee shop across the street. The building is now occupied by the Sun Royal Group’s restaurants. The high-rise building is the New Ochanomizu Building, the headquarters of Nippon Shuppan Hanbai.
