Nishiazabu Shortcut 1984⇔2023⇔2024
A shortcut from the street below Aoyama Cemetery to Nishi-Azabu. At the Y-shaped intersection just before Dry Cleaning Minato-ya Main Store. Beyond the fence on the right is Aoyama Cemetery. It’s a quiet place where time seems to pass slowly, unlike anywhere else in Tokyo. Until 2023, the shape and atmosphere of the building remained unchanged, and the balcony and well pump traces were still there! By March 2024, it had been completely demolished.
青山墓地下の通りから西麻布への抜け道。ドライクリーニング港屋総本店手前のY字路。 右側フェンスの向こうは青山霊園。都内とは思えぬほど時がゆっくり過ぎる、静かな場所。2023年までは建物の形状、雰囲気も変わらず、ベランダと井戸のポンプ跡も残っていました! 2024年3月には更地になっていました。
