1969年にオープンしたロック喫茶。1970年代にははっぴぃえんどなどがライブをした伝説の場所。隣は私語厳禁、クラシック音楽の聖地「名曲喫茶ライオン」があります。渋谷百軒店は、関東大震災直後に飲食店、物販店、劇場など文字通り百軒以上の店舗が集結した商店街でした。今でも「BYG」や「名曲喫茶ライオン」、カレーの「ムルギ」など、歴史を感じられるお店が残っています。

Opened in 1969, this rock cafe is a legendary place where Happiendo and others performed live in the 1970s. Next door is the “Meikyukafé Lion,” a sacred place for classical music, where private conversation is strictly prohibited.Shibuya Hyakkendana was a shopping area where literally more than a hundred stores including restaurants, goods stores, theaters, etc. were gathered just after the Great Kanto Earthquake. Even today, stores such as “BYG,” “Meikyukafé Lion,” and “Murugi,” a curry shop, are still there to remind us of the history of the area.
