ムルギーカリーは、1951年（昭和26年）に渋谷道玄坂の百軒店商店街で創業された老舗カレー店です。創業者が海外で学んだ独特の味を、日本人向けにアレンジしたオリジナルカレーは、国産素材にこだわり、丁寧に作られています。長きにわたり、多くのお客様に愛され続けてきました。 代表的なメニュー「ムルギーの山」は、黒いカレーの上に半熟ゆで卵を載せ、山のように盛られたご飯が特徴です。創業から約70年、渋谷の街が移り変わる中でも、変わらぬ佇まいと味を守り続けています。その味は、食通として知られる池波正太郎氏にも絶賛され、現在も多くのカレー愛好家を魅了しています。
Shibuya Hyakkendana, Murgi Curry 1984⇔2025
Murgi Curry is a long-established curry restaurant founded in 1951 in Shibuya Dogenzaka’s Hyakkendana shopping area. The original curry, with a unique flavor learned abroad by the founder and arranged for the Japanese, is carefully prepared with Japanese ingredients. It has been loved by many customers for a long time. The representative menu item, “Murgi no Yama,” features black curry topped with a half-boiled egg and rice heaped up like a mountain. For almost 70 years since its establishment, the restaurant has maintained its unchanged appearance and flavor even as the Shibuya area has changed. Its taste was praised by Shotaro Ikenami, a well-known food connoisseur, and continues to attract many curry lovers today.
