新宿駅南口甲州街道 1984⇔2025
甲州街道・四ツ谷方面は高いビルもなく空の抜けがいい。右手に「ラシント ンパレス」最上階の円盤形レストランが見える。新宿二丁目の名所でした。 京王新宿三丁目ビル(正面の白いビル)は、1945(昭和20)年に移転するまで 京王線新宿駅があった場所。それまでは甲州街道を京王線が走っていました。

Koshu Kaido at the south exit of the Shinjyuku station 1984⇔2025
There are no tall buildings on Koshu Kaido in the direction of Yotsuya, and the sky is clear. On the right side of the street is a disc-shaped restaurant on the top floor of the Lashington Palace. This was a famous landmark in Shinjuku Ni-Chome. The Keio Shinjuku 3-chome Building (the white building in front) was the location of Shinjuku Station on the Keio Line until it was relocated in 1945. Until then, the Keio Line ran along Koshu Kaido.
