神田岩本町・岩本町三丁目とＪＲ秋葉原駅東口方面を結ぶ昭和通りにある和泉橋からの撮影です。橋の上から神田方面を望むと、東北新幹線、山手線、京浜東北線、上野東京ラインなどのJR各線が走っています。その手前の小さな橋が「神田川橋梁」のひとつである歩行者専用「神田ふれあい橋」です。橋の左側にある「柳森神社（やなぎもりじんじゃ）」は、室町時代に、太田道灌が江戸城東北方面の鬼門除けとして京都の伏見稲荷大社を勧請して創建したとされ、椙森神社・烏森神社と共に江戸三森の一社と呼ばれた。
Akihabara・Kanda River Bridge 1984⇔2025
This photo was taken from the Izumi Bridge on Showa-dori Street, which connects Kanda-Iwamoto-cho and Iwamoto-cho 3-chome to the east exit of JR Akihabara Station. Looking toward Kanda from the bridge, the Tohoku Shinkansen, Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Ueno Tokyo Line, and other JR lines are running. The small bridge in front of it is the pedestrian-only “Kanda Fureai Bridge,” one of the “Kanda River Bridges. Yanagimori Shrine, located on the left side of the bridge, is said to have been built in the Muromachi period (1336-1573) by Ota Dokan, who invited the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine in Kyoto to ward off demons in the northeastern part of Edo Castle, and was called one of the Edo Sanmori shrines along with Sugimori Shrine and Karasumori Shrine.
