「同潤会鶯谷アパート」は、JR鶯谷駅近くの尾久橋通り沿いに建っていた。 このアパートは、関東大震災の復興事業の一環として、1929年に建設された鉄筋コンクリート造の3階建て・3棟・計95戸の共同住宅である。1960年以降、建替え計画が何度か提案されたものの、実現には至らなかった。しかし、築59年目の1988年、バブル景気を背景に「地上げ」の話が浮上したことを契機に、区分所有者間で自主建替えの方針がまとまった。借家人も住み続けられるようにするため、建替えの方法が協議され、周辺地域の一体的な整備を目的とした法定再開発による建替え計画が進められた。 そして、1996年に「東日暮里五丁目地区第一種市街地再開発事業」として荒川区の認可を受け、1999年3月に取り壊しが開始された。
Dojunkai Uguisudani Apartment 1984⇔2025
The “Uguisudani Apartments” stood along Okubashi-dori near JR Uguisudani Station. The apartments were built in 1929 as part of a reconstruction project following the Great Kanto Earthquake, and consisted of three three-story reinforced concrete apartment buildings with a total of 95 units. However, in 1988, 59 years after the building was constructed, the owners decided to rebuild the building on their own initiative when the bubble economy brought up the topic of “land redevelopment. In order to allow tenants to continue to live in the building, a rebuilding method was discussed, and a rebuilding plan was put forward through legal redevelopment with the aim of integrating the surrounding area. In 1996, the project was approved by Arakawa Ward as the “Higashinippori 5-chome Area Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project,” and demolition began in March 1999.
