浅草花やしき通り1986⇔2020
花やしきのシンボルだった「Beeタワー」が懐かしい。「びっくり食堂」では何が出てくるのかな。映画館の看板も賑やかです。「キャプテン翼」「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」1986年3月公開。浅草を代表する観光スポットのひとつである日本最古の遊園地「浅草花やしき」の南側に面する「花やしき通り」今でも風情のある昭和の雰囲気は変わっていません。
Asakusa Hanayashiki Street 1986⇔2020
I miss the “Bee Tower” that was the symbol of Hanayashiki. I wonder what they serve at “Bikkuri Shokudo”. The movie theater signs are also lively. “Captain Tsubasa” and “Gegege no Kitaro” were released in March 1986. Hanayashiki Street, which faces the south side of Asakusa Hanayashiki, Japan’s oldest amusement park and one of Asakusa’s most popular tourist spots, still retains its charming Showa-era atmosphere.
秋葉原・神田川橋梁 1984⇔2021⇔2023
神田川に架けられた総武本線の鉄道橋。1923(大正12)年に起きた関東大震災からの復興時に、両国駅から御茶ノ水駅まで延伸する際に架けられた橋です。1984年は「今日もお元気で!」だった右側の看板が、「明日もお元気で!」に変わっています。奥に見えるのは聖橋。川沿いの風景はあまり変わっていません。
Akihabara Kandagawa Bridge 1984⇔2021⇔2023
A railway bridge on the Sobu Main Line over the Kanda River. This bridge was built when extending from Ryogoku Station to Ochanomizu Station during the reconstruction from the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 (Taisho 12). In 1984, the sign on the right, which was “How are you today!”, Has been changed to “How are you tomorrow!”. Hijiribashi is visible in the back. The scenery along the river hasn’t changed much.
