今は植物で覆われていますが、すっぴんの時代。新宿西口駅前の中央部分に大きく穴が開いたコンクリートの建物。地下の新宿西口広場や地下街を換気する換気口です。2023年、明治安田生命新宿ビルとスバルビル跡地、そして西口小田急デパートも建替え中。西口広場、換気口周りは活かして残して欲しい。
