1981年都議会議員選挙を控えての応援演説の為、自由民主党の広報宣伝車が停まっている吉祥寺駅北口広場。
「ロンロン」は1969（昭和44）年12月に開店した、JR中央線の吉祥寺駅から吉祥寺通りまでの駅西側の高架下にある商業施設。「ロンロン」の由来はLONGLONG。長い駅ビルだったことからこの名前になっている。その後、吉祥寺駅の改良工事を受けて改装され、2010年（平成22年）から「アトレ吉祥寺」として生まれ変わった。現在のアトレ吉祥寺本館1階にかつてのロンロンの名を冠した「ロンロン市場」がある。ちなみに、「アトレ」の語源は、「魅力」を意味するフランス語「attrait」に由来します。

LONRON” is a commercial facility opened in December 1969, located under the elevated railway tracks on the west side of the station from Kichijoji Station to Kichijoji-dori Avenue on the JR Chuo Line. The name “LONGLONG” comes from LONGLONG; it was so named because it was a long station building. Later, it was renovated following the improvement of Kichijoji Station, and was reborn as “atre Kichijoji” in 2010 (Heisei 22). The current LONGLONG Market, named after the former LONGLONG, is located on the first floor of the main building of ATRE Kichijoji.Incidentally, the word “atre” is derived from the French word “attrait,” meaning “charm.
