甲州街道の陸橋越しに見えていた「ヴィクトリア カメラセンター」。
1980年代は、1・2階がカメラ、3階がフィルム、4階がビデオカメラ売場。
ヨドバシカメラ、カメラのさくらや、カメラのドイと並び、新宿はまさにカメラ激戦区。中古カメラ店もひしめいていました。
一方で、1915（大正4）年創業の「長野屋」は今も当時の建物のまま営業中。
令和のいまも、新宿の街に昭和の時間が息づく貴重なお店です。

The “Victoria Camera Center” visible across the Koshu Kaido overpass. In the 1980s, the first and second floors sold cameras, the third floor sold film, and the fourth floor sold video cameras. Alongside Yodobashi Camera and Camera no Sakuraya and Camera no Doi, Shinjuku was truly a camera battleground. Secondhand camera shops also crowded the area.
Meanwhile, “Nagano-ya,” founded in 1915 (Taisho 4), still operates in its original building.
Even now in the Reiwa era, it remains a precious shop where the spirit of the Showa era lives on in the streets of Shinjuku.
