東京大空襲で焼け野原となった代々木駅前にはバラックの店舗が建ち並んだ。1964(昭和39)年、東京オリンピックに向けての道路拡張のため、バラックの移転先として代々木会館が建設された。 テレビドラマ「傷だらけの天使」ロケ地やアニメーション映画「天気の子」の舞台。土地の権利関係が複雑でしたが2020(令和2)年に解体され、2022(令和4)年オフィスビル「プレンジ代々木」が竣工した。
Yoyogi Kaikan 1984⇔2025
After the Tokyo Air Raid, the area in front of Yoyogi Station was burnt to the ground and lined with barracks of stores. 1964 (Showa 39), Yoyogi Kaikan was built as a place to relocate the barracks in order to expand the road for the Tokyo Olympics. It was the location for the TV drama “Wounded Angel” and the animated film “Weather Child. Although the land rights were complicated, the building was demolished in 2020, and the office building “Plenge Yoyogi” was completed in 2022.
