Shibuya Dogenzaka Koji(alley), Reikyo 1984⇔2025
Founded in 1955, the Taiwanese restaurant Reikyo is a landmark in Dogenzaka, Shibuya. The red brick exterior and the specialty “intestines (Taiwanese sausage)” hanging on the counter are impressive. The restaurant has maintained its unchanged taste, such as steamed shijimi clam with sake, and even amidst the changes in Shibuya, this long-established restaurant still retains the atmosphere of the Showa period. The restaurant is so popular that it is known as “Ligo when it comes to Taiwanese cuisine in Shibuya.” It has an established reputation for both taste and volume, and attracts both locals and tourists with its lively, bustling atmosphere.
