駅周辺は「代々木ゼミナール」をはじめ、予備校の街でした。駅構内にあった伝言板「らくがきコーナー」は、絵心のある若者たちの描いた漫画やアニメのキャラクター書き込みで有名に。 少子化で予備校校舎も減り、さらにコロナ禍でリモート授業も進み、学生の姿はほとんど見かけなっくなった代々木駅前。いつも行き交う若者であふれる駅周辺も閑散としています。
Yoyogi Station West Exit 1984⇔2025
The area around the station was a town of prep schools including “Yoyogi Seminar”. The “Scribble Corner” message board in the station became famous for the manga and anime characters drawn by young people with an artistic mind.With the declining birthrate, the number of prep school buildings has decreased, and with the advent of remote classes at Corona Peril, students are rarely seen in front of Yoyogi Station anymore. The area around the station, which is always filled with young people coming and going, has become deserted.
