South Shinjuku・In front of New State Manor 1984⇔2023
The New State Manor apartment building was completed in 1976. It was originally planned to be a hotel, and there is a porch and a tenant area on the first floor that would have been a shopping arcade, which is still used as stores and offices today. The alley to the right in the foreground still houses the “Women’s Choice Hall” and the “Fusae Ichikawa Memorial Association Women and Politics Center”.
1976年に完成したマンション「ニューステイトメナー」。当初はホテルにする計画だったとのこと、車寄せや１階にはショッピングアーケードになったであろうテナント部分もあり、そちらは現在も店舗やオフィスとして使用されています。手前右の路地を入ると「婦選会館」「（公財）市川房枝記念会女性と政治センター」が現在もあります。
