Shibuya Miyashita Park 1984⇔2021
There was a tranquil park on the artificial ground of a long, narrow strip of land surrounded by the railroad tracks between Shibuya and Harajuku on the Yamanote Line and Meiji Street. The lower ground floor is a parking lot.The guards leading to Parco had just been built. The name “Miyashita” comes from the fact that the residence of Prince Nashimoto was located on the hill to the east.
山手線渋谷~原宿間の線路と明治通りに囲まれた細長い土地の人工地盤上に、のどかな公 園がありました。その下1階部分は駐車場です。パルコ方面に抜けるガードはできたばかり。 東側の高台に梨本宮邸があったことから「宮下」の名が付きました。

Shibuya Meiji-dori in 1984, in front of Miyashita Park, Metro Plaza The Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Hall on the left is no longer there. The “Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Hall” was the location of the “Prince Nashimotonomiya Residence,” from which “Miyashita Park” and “Miyashita Bridge” were named. “The Nashimotonomiya family was one of the newly established Imperial families established in 1870, but was abolished in 1946 after the Pacific War, and the Imperial family residence was sold.At the top of the hill was the Gallery Sakuragumi, an independent gallery established by Daido Moriyama and Masahisa Fukase seminar graduates.
東京都児童会館前 1984⇔2021
1984年ごろの渋谷明治通り、ミヤシタパーク前、メトロプラザ 左側に見える「東京都児童会館」はもう無い。「東京都児童会館」は「宮下公園」や「宮下橋」の名前の由来となった「梨本宮邸」があった場所。「梨本宮家」は、1870（明治3）年に創設された新設宮家の一つだったが、「太平洋戦争」後の1946（昭和21）年に廃止され、皇族邸も売却された。この坂を上ったところに、森山大道、深瀬昌久ゼミ卒業生有志で開設した自主ギャラリー「ギャラリー櫻組」があった。
