六本木通りへ抜ける路地、三井銀行は三井住友銀行となって同じ場所で営業中、隣にあった麻布警察署は2019年に三河台中学校跡地に新庁舎を建設し移転しました。六本木通り沿いの並びにあった青山ブックセンター（1980～2018年）には、海外の写真集が多くあり通ったものです。夜遅くまで営業していて夜型の人間にはありがたい存在だった。
現在の六本木ヒルズの場所にあった「WAVE」（1983〜1999）も”音と映像の新しい空間”としてビル1棟丸ごとカルチャー発信基地のように様々な文化を発信する存在だった。世界中より厳選された音楽が集められたレコードショップ、一般的な映画館では扱われないような作品を果敢に上映するミニシアターのシネ・ヴィヴァン、レコーディングからコンピューター・グラフィックスのためのスタジオなど音楽と映像のコンテンツで埋め尽くされた他にはない空間だった。海外の著名なアーティストや音楽プロデューサーもWAVEでレコードやCDを買うことを目的にわざわざ日本に来ていたほどでした。
Roppongi back alley 1984⇔ 2023
The alley leading to Roppongi Dori, Mitsui Bank is now Mitsui Sumitomo Bank and still operating in the same location, and the Azabu Police Station next door moved to a new building on the site of Mikawadai Junior High School in 2019. The Aoyama Book Center (1980-2018), located along Roppongi Dori, had many foreign photo books and I used to go there. It was open until late at night, which was appreciated by night people.
WAVE” (1983-1999), located in the current Roppongi Hills, was also a “new space for sound and images,” and the entire building was a cultural center for a variety of cultures.It was a unique space filled with music and visual content, including a record store that collected carefully selected music from around the world, a mini-theater Cine Vivant that boldly screened films not usually available in movie theaters, and a studio for recording and computer graphics. The festival was a one-of-a-kind space filled with music and visual content. Even prominent foreign artists and music producers came all the way to Japan for the purpose of buying records and CDs at WAVE.
六本木ピラミデビル前の通り1984⇔2023
六本木のあたりはもともと山の上だったというのもあって、昔からの屋敷が並ぶ住宅街であった。戦後のベンツを支えたメルセデスベンツ 170(W136)が通り過ぎた。Piramide（ピラミデ）ブリヂストン六本木ビルの起工日は 1989（平成元）年3月、竣工は1990（平成2）年です。

The area around Roppongi was originally a residential area lined with old mansions, partly because it was originally on top of a mountain. A Mercedes-Benz 170 (W136), which supported the postwar Mercedes-Benz, passed by.The Piramide Bridgestone Roppongi Building’s groundbreaking date was March 1989, and its completion was in 1990.
