東京駅から有楽町へ向かうJR線路沿いに飲食店が並んでいましたがJR施設設置の為、閉店。街路樹との隙間に「回転展望レストラン」が特徴の有楽町交通会館が見えます。1965年より55年間、回り続けてきました。座ったまま360度パノラマが楽しめて、晴れた日には富士山を遠望することができました、今は高層ビルに囲まれ、唯一視界が開けるのが東京駅方面です。周辺ビルの高層化や老朽化、経費削減などで2020年12月に回転を止めた。2021年9月に「東京會舘 銀座スカイラウンジ」として回転は止めたままリニューアルオープンしてます。東京駅方面の写真は12階のイベントホールより撮影したものです。
Yurakucho Kotsu Kaikan 1984⇔2023
Restaurants used to line the JR line from Tokyo Station to Yurakucho, but closed due to the establishment of JR facilities.The Yurakucho Kotsu Kaikan, featuring a “revolving observation restaurant,” can be seen in the gap between the street trees; it has been revolving for 55 years since 1965. On a clear day, one could enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view from the comfort of one’s seat, and on a clear day one could see Mt. Due to the increasing height of the surrounding buildings, aging, and cost cutting, the rotation stopped in December 2020, and it will reopen in September 2021 as “Tokyo Kaikan Ginza Sky Lounge” with the rotation remaining unchanged. The photo looking toward Tokyo Station was taken from the 12th floor event hall.
